The government is interested in developing a plan to provide an alternative method to protect the inhabitants from fire during the period of low draw down of the reservoir when the water level is below the intake pipe for the station service water source supplying the fire sprinkler systems. An alternative water source needs to be provided from 1 October to end of February for an unknown number of years.
The government is requesting industry feedback on possible solutions for protecting a 10000 SF building and warehouse from fire. The system in question that the government would like to install would be a Hybrid mist system.
